No. 10 website gets Save the PRH petition

1 Oct 2007

An e-petition calling on Gordon Brown to intervene to save the PRH is now live on the No. 10 website.

Serena Tierney, Lib Dem parliamentary spokesman for Mid Sussex, who created the petition, said:

"This is another way to get Gordon Brown's attention over the need to save the PRH. If we get 1000 signatures, the Prime Minister is supposed to reply himself rather than just a junior minister.

"It is clear from the consultation meetings and other communications from West Sussex PCT that it is determined to downgrade the PRH. We need the government to intervene to stop this dangerous plan.

"Please log on to http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/SavePRH/ and sign the petition and email the link to everyone you know and ask them to do the same.

"The petition will end on 17th November to tie in with the end of the public consultation."
