Calling all Lib Dem Enthusiasts
Conference energy kick starts local by-election campaign
Jo Swinson set out ambitious targets for any upcoming General Election at the Liberal Democrat conference in Bournemouth last weekend.
The conference was attended by our local town councillor, Stephanie Inglesfield, and local campaign planner Barbara King. Both were impressed with the knowledge sharing and enthusiasm of colleagues and friends. It was an inspirational time and the two left feeling more motivated than ever to get General Election ready.

Can you help us win the Franklands ward by-election?
Here in Haywards Heath, we have our first opportunity to test the electioneering wheels, with the Franklands Ward by-election taking place on Thursday 17th October. Our candidate for this by-election is Nick Chapman. Read all about him in our latest Focus leaflet.
Nick joined his colleagues at the by-election campaign planning group meeting on Wednesday 18th September to discuss the task in hand. The group is looking for people like you to volunteer and help with the campaign in any way you can.
Roles range from delivering leaflets, putting up a poster, having a garden stake-board, canvassing (either door to door or via telephone - as a group, training given), helping with administration, or donating to the campaign fund.

There's never been a better time to campaign with us
Support for the Liberal Democrats continues to grow from strength to strength. If you share our liberal values and the national party conference has motivated you to get involved with the Liberal Democrats at a local level, please register your interest in volunteering here.
We want to do all we can to make sure our Franklands campaign candidate, Nick Chapman, gets the support he needs to win the campaign and get more Liberal Democrat Councillors on the Town Council.
We're a friendly bunch and look forward to welcoming you to our team!
