2021 County Elections - Haywards Heath Town - Stephanie Inglesfield

Stephanie Inglesfield

My name is Stephanie Inglesfield. I will be standing as your Liberal Democrat candidate for the Haywards Heath Town division in the West Sussex County elections in May.

I live in Haywards Heath off Rocky Lane with my husband and our teenage son. We also have three adult children.

I am a Town Councillor for the Ashenground ward. Also, I work from home as a Life Coach and I study for a degree in British History and Politics with the Open University. It is all go! I make my own bread and my own ice-cream and I relax by reading a book or watching a series on Netflix.

I have lived in six countries over three continents. This experience teaches me the value and power of international cooperation. It brings peace and prosperity, conditions under which we can achieve anything we put our mind to.

As a Town Councillor, I get to represent our local community and I like nothing better than being on the planning committee and championing for greener, more affordable housing for young people and families while preserving the character and natural beauty of Haywards Heath.

Campaigning to keep Clair Hall open till a replacement is secured brought it home to me how much we care in Haywards Heath and how strong we are as a community when we stand up for what we value and hold dear. Despite the neglect and asset stripping by the Conservative led District Council, Clair Hall is stlll standing. Make no mistake: with our community, I shall continue fighting till our goal is reached.

I joined the Liberal Democrats in 2016. Since then I have been tirelessly campaigning for integrity, common sense and a more caring society. If that is what you also want, please help me get enough votes so that I can make a difference at the county level. As a County Councillor, I will work hard for you to provide the positive, transparent and proficient leadership that the County Council desperately needs to rebuild its credibility after years of Conservative incompetence and mismanagement.
