Save Burgess Hills Library Facilities

We're campaigning to keep the library facilities promised by New River Retail as part of the town center development, and now under threat. Local conservative councillors have said that the significantly worse temporary library will now be permanent, likely resulting in:

    • A library that is about 1/2 the size promised and smaller than the existing one

    • Fewer books

    • No Changing Places toilet facilities for people

    • No community hub as planned

    • Poorer access for the disabled and parents or carers with young children

  • Burgess Hill Liberal Democrats are campaigning for decent library provision in Burgess Hill which we've been promised, and calling on WSCC to not allow the developer to downgrade our public assets for commercial gain.
  • Please back our better library campaign & Vote Liberal Democrat on May 2nd
  • We need your full address to enable WSCC to accept this petition
