I stood for Town Council because common sense and planning is exactly what Haywards Heath needs: Houses are being built left and right without the amenities that should logically go with them - no increase in hospital bed numbers, school places, parking spaces in town… in my road, hundreds of homes are being built yet my own dentist has closed down and no replacement in the offing. It makes no sense.
The town council has been 100% Conservative since 2015. Besides the mismanagement that it implies, there has been no scrutiny, no checks and balances. I want to bring fresh blood and fresh ideas to th council.
