Local Lib Dem MP shortlisted for national charity award jointly with Dorset Tory MP

Serena has written to neighbouring Lib Dem MP, Norman Baker and Tory MP Oliver Letwin to congratulate them on their joint nomination for the prestigious ePolitix Charity Champion Awards.

"Your efforts with Oliver Letwin to form a cross-party agreement on climate change so that the usual party political point scoring does prevent urgent progress on reduction of carbon emissions were brave and deserve recognition. Both of you have done a great service to the community which is leading to real progress in this vital area. I am delighted to congratulate you both on being shortlisted for this award and hope that you are successful on 29th October when the winners are announced."
