About Serena Tierney

Serena Tierney is an intellectual property solicitor and international mediator. She has senior management experience with several FTSE 100 companies and at the European HQ of a US company. At the last General Election, she was campaign manager for the Lib Dem's top target seat - Teignbridge - which we took, defeating the sitting Tory ex-minister, by the biggest majority of all gains on that night.

Serena is a commercial lawyer specialising in copyright, trade marks, designs and patents who has worked in private practice, and in-house for major companies in the UK and Switzerland. She has trained magazine editors in media law, regularly speaks at international conferences and has presented television programmes for UK lawyers. She is also a commercial mediator working in French and English

Serena has a daughter who recently graduated from University. She speaks fluent French, conversational Italian and rusty German. Her interests include entertaining, travel, cinema and art, architecture and design between 1870 and 1930, she also plays violin and viola.
